National Charcuterie Week

The Charcuterie Board invites its members to join in with celebrating its ‘National Charcuterie Week’ across the UK to celebrate all things cured and meaty! Starting in 2020 this first nationwide week dedicated to our charcuterie sector will run from the 9th to the 15th September. It will be a chance for producers, butchers, farmers, retailers and distributors to highlight our wonderful products and introduce the public to a week of events, promotions, news and tastings all focused on the very best charcuterie we have to offer in the UK.

The week will culminate in an inaugural weekend event organised by The Charcuterie Board in partnership with the School of Artisan Food at the historic Welbeck Estate in Nottinghamshire, UK along with a host of key players from across the UK charcuterie scene. The event will feature a day for producer members to attend, free of charge, to showcase their wonderful products to buyers and distributors as well as the press, that evening a party will see the first of our Charcuterie Board Silver Stars presented and then the weekend will be open for the public to sample and buy, see practical demonstrations, interactive classes and enjoy fire cooked food, on site brewery and other treats!

Many other events will be happening all over the country to make this a week to remember so stay tuned as more announcements are made!
